Therapeutic Life Skills Program

Ages 14-30

CREATE Independence is addressing the needs of the increasing number of adolescents and young adults who require additional support in daily living skills, education, work, leisure, and social participation.

Home Management

Home management skills are the skills needed to organize and take care of your home and possessions. Skills included cleaning, organizing, laundry, and accessibility.

Social Skills

There are core skills that are essential in building meaningful relationships with peers. . As a program we foster these relationships and build a community within our community through enhancing necessary social skills.

Prevocational/Vocational

Our program also offers opportunities in a separate workshop space where various projects are created that may nurture client interests or passions, as well as, provide opportunities for others to donate and purchase these one-of-a-kind pieces. Our program also offers volunteer experiences to help support our local community.

Health and Wellness

To live a long, quality and healthy life we teach the importance of wellness. Wellness includes learning about nutrition, mindfulness techniques, and expressing feelings. Activities can include exercise, yoga, meditation, swimming, and community walks.
